Addictive Beauty Academy was founded by CEO LaToya Williams-Boyd, an Orlando, Florida native, beauty entrepreneur, educator, and mentor with a passion for helping others build confidence, develop professional skills, and create opportunities through the beauty industry.
LaToya began her journey as the founder of Addictive Lashes, where she built her experience providing professional beauty services including eyelash extensions, facials, body waxing, brow services, permanent makeup (PMU), and beauty education. She also began offering group and individual training to aspiring beauty professionals who wanted to strengthen their skills and pursue careers in the industry.
After more than five years of working with clients and training aspiring professionals, LaToya recognized an opportunity to do something greater. She wanted to create an educational environment where students could receive professional instruction, hands-on experience, mentorship, and the training needed to pursue licensure and confidently enter the beauty industry.
From that vision, Addictive Beauty Academy was created—where beauty meets empowerment.
More Than a Beauty School
Addictive Beauty Academy is dedicated to providing aspiring estheticians with comprehensive education and practical, hands-on training designed to prepare them for opportunities within the beauty industry.
Our approach goes beyond the traditional classroom. Students are encouraged to develop their technical skills, professionalism, creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurial mindset while gaining real-world experience in a supportive learning environment.
Our training introduces students to a variety of beauty services and techniques while emphasizing sanitation, client care, professionalism, business development, and the skills necessary to successfully transition from student to beauty professional.
Career Support Beyond Graduation
Our commitment to our students does not end when they complete the program.
Addictive Beauty Academy provides job-placement assistance and continued mentorship to help graduates take their next steps in the industry. We work to build relationships with spas, salons, med spas, skincare businesses, and other beauty establishments so that qualified graduates can learn about potential employment opportunities.
For students interested in entrepreneurship, we also encourage the development of the business knowledge, professionalism, and confidence needed to begin building their own beauty brands and clientele.
Graduates can also receive up to six months of complimentary mentorship, providing additional opportunities to strengthen skills, receive guidance, and continue learning after completing the program.
Education With a Community Purpose
Community involvement is an important part of the mission of Addictive Beauty Academy.
We believe young people should be exposed to career opportunities in the beauty industry before they enter adulthood. Through high-school visits, career events, demonstrations, partnerships, and community outreach, we introduce students to esthetics and the many career paths available within the growing beauty industry.
Our goal is not simply to teach beauty services. We want to help develop skilled, confident and prepared beauty professionals who understand that their education can become a career, a business, and a pathway toward greater opportunities.
