At Addictive Beauty Academy, we don’t believe beauty education should stop at reading a textbook. Our students receive a combination of theory, demonstrations, hands-on practice, professional development, and real-world beauty-industry education.

Our 8-week, 220-hour esthetics program is designed to help students develop the knowledge, practical skills, confidence, sanitation practices, and professionalism needed to complete their training and pursue Florida licensure and career opportunities in the beauty industry.

From skincare and advanced facial techniques to lashes, brows, makeup, waxing, and more, our students receive exposure to a wide variety of today’s in-demand beauty services.

✨ Luxury Facials & Professional Skincare

Students receive extensive training in facial services and learn how to create customized treatments based on the client’s skin type, concerns, and goals.

Training includes skin analysis, cleansing, exfoliation, steaming, extractions, masks, facial massage, product selection, hydration, treatment-room preparation, sanitation, contraindications, and client aftercare.

💦 Hydrofacial Training

Students learn how to perform hydrofacial-style services incorporating cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and serum infusion.

You’ll learn how to select products based on the client’s skin and how to customize a hydrofacial treatment to address concerns such as dryness, congestion, dullness, uneven-looking texture, and overall skin appearance.

✨ Extractions

Proper extraction technique is an important part of professional facial training.

Students learn how to identify appropriate areas for extraction, prepare the skin, perform extractions using proper techniques, maintain sanitation, recognize when an area should not be extracted, and provide appropriate post-extraction care.

The goal is to teach students to perform extractions carefully while protecting the client’s skin.

💎 Dermaplaning

Students learn professional dermaplaning techniques used to remove surface buildup and fine vellus hair, leaving the skin with a smoother and more polished appearance.

Training covers proper positioning, technique, sanitation, client consultation, contraindications, skin preparation, and post-treatment care.

💕 Microdermabrasion

Students are introduced to microdermabrasion techniques used to exfoliate the outermost surface of the skin.

Training includes equipment operation, treatment technique, client selection, contraindications, sanitation, and aftercare.

💡 LED Light Therapy & High Frequency

Students learn how popular esthetic technologies may be incorporated into customized facial treatments.

Training covers LED light therapy, high-frequency equipment, equipment safety, sanitation, treatment protocols, contraindications, and client consultation.

🧖🏽♀️ Hot Stone Facials

Students learn how to incorporate hot stones into a relaxing facial experience involving the face, neck, and shoulder area while maintaining client comfort and proper safety procedures.

💗 Vajacials & Bikini Skincare

Students learn professional skincare techniques for the bikini area, including cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, ingrown-hair care, extractions when appropriate, and post-wax skincare.

Education also addresses common concerns such as bumps, congestion, dryness, and the appearance of uneven skin tone.

👁️ Eyelash Extension Training

Students receive hands-on lash education covering the fundamentals needed to begin developing their artistry.

Training may include Classic, Hybrid and Volume lashes; isolation; lash mapping; lengths and curls; adhesive knowledge; proper placement; lash removal; refills; aftercare; clusters; lash lifts; bottom lashes; and custom strip-lash concepts.

Students practice their technique while learning how to select lash styles based on different eye shapes and desired looks.

🎀 Brow Artistry

Beautiful brows require more than waxing.

Students learn brow mapping, shaping, waxing, tinting, lamination, color selection, symmetry, and client consultation while developing an understanding of how brow shape can complement a client’s facial features.

Ombré Brows & PMU Introduction

Students also receive exposure to Permanent Makeup (PMU) concepts, including Ombré Brows.

Education may include brow mapping, color theory, pigments, undertones, needle configurations, machine fundamentals, sanitation, bloodborne-pathogen awareness, proper disposal, healing, aftercare, and client consultation.

PMU-related education is provided within the scope permitted by applicable licensing, facility, health, and regulatory requirements.

💄 Professional Makeup Training

Makeup is another valuable skill students can add to their beauty knowledge.

Students learn concepts including skin preparation, foundation matching, color theory, facial anatomy, blending, highlighting, contouring, brow enhancement, eye makeup, and creating finished makeup looks for different clients and occasions.

Students also learn how proper skincare preparation can affect the appearance and longevity of makeup.

🍯 Body & Brow Waxing

Students learn professional waxing techniques using hard and soft wax.

Training may include brows, face, upper lip, chin, underarms, arms, legs, bikini-area services, and other body-waxing techniques, along with proper wax temperature, hair-growth patterns, sanitation, client preparation, contraindications, and aftercare.

💕 Body Contouring & Additional Beauty Education

Our students are exposed to even more areas of the modern beauty industry.

Depending on the curriculum and applicable scope requirements, training may include concepts involving body contouring, cavitation, laser-lipo-style equipment, wood therapy, product knowledge, skincare ingredients, client consultations, service pricing, and beauty-business development.

And That’s Not All

Throughout the program, students participate in practical exercises, demonstrations, projects, product education, and other learning experiences.

We train much more than just the basics.

Our goal is to help students leave Addictive Beauty Academy with broader exposure to the beauty industry, stronger technical foundations, professional habits, and greater confidence in their abilities.

📚 Admission Education Requirement — Please Read

A traditional high school diploma is not required for admission to Addictive Beauty Academy.

Applicants who do not have a high school diploma must provide official school transcripts documenting completion of at least the 8th grade, subject to the Academy’s admissions requirements and applicable Florida requirements.

Applicants should contact Addictive Beauty Academy before enrollment if they have questions about which educational records will be accepted.

💗 From Student to Beauty Professional

At Addictive Beauty Academy, our mission goes beyond teaching students how to perform beauty services.

We want students to understand client care, sanitation, professionalism, consultation, service pricing, career development, entrepreneurship, branding, customer service, and what it takes to operate professionally in the beauty industry.

Graduation doesn’t have to mean the support ends, either. Our graduates can receive up to six months of complimentary mentorship, providing additional opportunities to practice, strengthen skills, and receive guidance as they transition into the industry.

We also provide job-placement assistance to help connect graduates with potential opportunities in salons, spas, skincare businesses, and other beauty environments.
